Extension Mailbox - Residence and Business - V6.0
Product Description
Extension Mailbox is an optional feature of the Voice Messaging Service, Voice Mail Mailbox and Business Voice Messaging Service Choice products. This feature allows one mailbox to be divided into a maximum of four compartments - three extensions and one main mailbox. Extension Mailbox end-users can set up and use none, one, two or all three of their extensions, at any time.
Extension Mailbox can only be provided as an optional feature to an end-user that has one of the following services:
Voice Messaging Service | USOC(s) |
Residence | |
Voice Messaging Service - Residence Only | VMJXA, VMJXB |
Mailbox Only - Residence Only | VMJXX |
Business | |
Voice Mail Mailbox - Business Only | MBB, MBBXA |
Business Voice Messaging Service Choice | VVMAD, VVMAE, VVMAF, VVMAG |
Extension Mailbox includes the following functions:
- Messages left in an extension mailbox can only be retrieved using the extension mailbox security code
- Extension name
- Extension Mailbox greeting
The main mailbox and each extension may have:
- A standard greeting
- A 90 second personal greeting
The main mailbox holder may press 0 while retrieving messages to determine how many messages each extension mailbox has.
Extension Mailbox has the following limitations:
- Extensions can only send a message to the main mailbox.
- Extension and Main mailbox users share message capacity.
By purchasing Extension Mailbox, the total voice messaging capacity is increased from 35 to 45 messages for all mailboxes.
