Space for Cageless Physical Collocation is provided in single frame bay increments. The current minimum square footage is nine square feet per bay. However, if smaller bays are or become available, CenturyLink will reduce the minimum square footage accordingly.
Subleasing of Cageless Physical Collocation may be available. For additional information, refer to your Interconnection Agreement.
You may also choose to have CenturyLink procure and install the Equipment Bay framework (to include supports i.e. anchor bolts, top support, and extenders) and spacers, for your Cageless collocation. This option is available on the Collocation Application. You are still responsible for procurement, installation and maintenance of your equipment within the bay and any cross connections required within your leased collocation space.
Upon completion of the Collocation site, you assume ownership of the Equipment Bay and are responsible for removal of the bay upon Decommissioning of the site. Equipment includes all CLEC owned electronic equipment, equipment racks, mounting hardware, and CLEC supplied cable (including direct CLEC-to-CLEC cables). You must file a Method of Procedure (MOP) with the Central Office Supervisor so that CenturyLink can remove the fuses prior to the CLEC removing any equipment or power cabling.
If you do not remove your equipment within thirty (30) Days of CenturyLink's acceptance of the Collocation Decommission Application, CenturyLink will send a notification stating the equipment is considered abandoned.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. How can I power my test equipment?
CenturyLink normally places an AC convenience outlet every third bay in
the line up. Your bay may or may not have the convenience outlet,
however the outlets should be close enough for your use.
2. Can I always be guaranteed contiguous bays?
No, although CenturyLink will make every attempt to provide you with contiguous
bays it is not always possible.
