Telecommunications companies are required by law to treat telephone account information confidentially. The information is called Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) and includes the telephone lines, features and other telecommunications services you purchase, as well as the usage associated with those services, including call detail information appearing in your bill. CenturyLink has always treated this information confidentially and remains committed to its long-standing policy. CPNI does not include your name, address, or telephone number.
At CenturyLink, we feel our job is to keep you current on new technologies; to understand your total personal or business needs; and to offer total solutions to meet those needs. With your approval, we will use your telephone account information to offer you CenturyLink services, such as local, long distance, and Internet and services we may offer with our partners, such as wireless and video. CenturyLink may also share your account information with businesses acting on CenturyLink's behalf, such as marketing and sales agents. Your willingness to let us use your CenturyLink telecommunications account information and share it within the CenturyLink companies will allow us to do our job and serve you in ways that will meet or exceed your expectations in the years to come.
You can give us your approval (and we hope you do) or not, it’s up to you and you can change your mind at any time, just let us know. Whatever your decision, we’ll honor it and it won’t affect the quality of service we provide you or impact the products and services you currently subscribe to.
