Your first step is to download the app from your device's app store. Once the app is installed:

You may also need help setting up voice commands through your phone, Google Home or Amazon Echo to control your smart devices, automating your smart lighting so that it dims when you’re heading to bed, or programming your smart thermostat to stay comfortable throughout the day. The how-to guides in the Pocket Geek app provide helpful tips and tricks to manage and optimize your smart devices. You can even view visual step-by-step device simulators for a helpful walkthrough.
In the app, tap the How-To Guides button from the home screen for the device you need help with, then select the type of guide you want to see. The options will vary depending on the device. You can always choose Live Support from any screen if you need more assistance.
The troubleshoot tool provides self-help content for commonly found issues and allows you to drill down to your specific issue. It gives quick fixes for most smart devices and pointers for troubleshooting small issues quickly and easily.
To access options, find the device on the home screen that you want help with and tap the Troubleshoot button. You can always select the blue agent icon for Live Support from any screen.
