          Two-Way & One-Way Trunks

Regardless of whether trunks are ordered directly through the end office or through the local tandem, two-way trunks should always be ordered, unless it is technically impossible and/or provisions have been made.

The CLEC and CenturyLink must reach agreement on what type of interconnection facilities to use. Facilities must meet the same technical criteria in order to be compatible. Two parties agree to provide interconnection facilities that meet the same technical criteria and service standards.

Agreement must also be reached on service standards such as transmission standards, in accordance with industry standards. These standards are covered in CenturyLink Technical Publications, which can be purchased from CenturyLink.
