Description Of Change
ASOG 35 Industry Changes

The QORA ASR Gateway application needs to be updated to support changes for ASOG 35, including ASOG, Mech Spec and UOM-ASR Schema changes as mandated by OBF.

Details of the ASOG 35 industry changes can be found at: http://www.atis.org/

Qwest Specific Edits: The following changes that are CLEC affecting are also being implemented.

QORA Ordering Enhancement

- Qwest is implementing a Status Change Notification which allows the initiator of the ASR to receive an email each time there is a change of status on the ASR. Customers must request this notification to begin receiving the email notices. This is available for ASRs placed via the GUI, NDM or UOM.

QORA GUI Changes

- Due Date calculation functionality will be added and may be used for determining the appropriate DDD for the ASR.

New QORA GUI and ASR Gateway Validations

The QORA GUI application will be updated to include new up-front edits for the following fields on the ASR. If the ASR entries do not pass the validation as described, the ASR will be rejected.

- CFA Validation Enhancement - When the ASR has an ACT = C, QORA will validate that the CFA on the service specific form matches the existing CFA of the ECCKT and not reject for busy CFA. If the ECCKT is not assigned to the CFA on the service specific forms, QORA will validate the CFA to determine availability.

- NDO Field - Translation Questionnaire Form – When the ASR.ACT = N or C and the first position of the of the ASR.TQ field = W, X, L, or M, and the Trunk.TGACT is not E, the system shall validate that the value in the TQ.NDO field matches the outpulse digits in the LERG6.

- CIC Field – If the Trunking.CIC is populated, and the TQFGD.CIC is populated, the system will validate that the values match.

Expected QORA Deliverables/Proposed Implementation Date (if applicable):

Upgrade for ASOG 34 industry related changes with additional edits to provide upfront editing and validation of ASR entries.

New options to be available in the QORA GUI on September 17thd.
