Three Way Calling V7.0
Product Description
Three Way Calling allows an end-user to add a third party to an existing call. The end-user can either 'conference' on the third party or can talk privately to the third party. The end-user can set up a call between self and two other parties. Additionally Three Way Calling allows an end-user to transfer an incoming call to any dialable telephone number, including a long distance telephone number, and hang-up without disconnecting the call.
The available options for Three Way Calling are:
- Unlimited Use - Three Way Calling is provided for a flat recurring rate.
- Pay-per-use - Each use of Three Way Calling is billed. If the feature is not used, there is no charge.
- Three Way Calling Blocking blocks the use of the pay-per-use feature. You may request a free block.
To activate Three Way Calling:
- Depress the switch hook firmly. Release immediately. If the telephone is equipped with a flash key, use it instead. This places the party the end-user is speaking with on hold. Listen for three brief tones followed by dial tone.
- The end-user dials the number of the party they want to add to their conversation. When that party answers, the end-user may talk privately before completing the three-way connection.
- Depress the switch hook or flash key again. This returns the first person to the line and completes the three-way connection.
To disconnect a Three Way Call:
- Depress the switch hook. This will drop the third party from the connection.
- All three connections automatically disconnect when the Three Way Calling end-user hangs up.
