Course Description
This self-directed, web-based course provides an overview of the CenturyLink Broadband Services product. It also covers preorder activites, ordering activities, and practice exercises.
CenturyLink Broadband Services is a data solution that uses Rate Adaptive Digital Subscriber Line (RADSL) and Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) technologies to allow concurrent voice and data transmission, or data transmission only, over a single local loop. RADSL is a type of Digital Subscriber Line that has the ability to change signaling parameters and adjust data rate based on impairments on the subscribers loop. CenturyLink Broadband Services provides end-users continuous, dedicated access to their Internet Service Provider (ISP) or corporate Local Area Network (LAN).
